Ukraine War: Analysis of Russia’s attacks on Odesa

The southern city of Odesa in Ukraine has come under a barrage of strikes over the last week following Moscow’s withdrawal from the Black Sea grain deal, which had allowed for the safe export of grain from blockaded ports.

It also provided Ukrainian port cities, like Odesa, with a level of protection.

Former British intelligence officer Philip Ingram says Russia has seen the end of the deal as a way to take the impact of the war across the globe.
