The Chief of UK Defence Intelligence has cast doubt on Russia’s claims it has withdrawn some forces from Ukraine’s borders, saying the UK has ‘not seen evidence’ of such movement.

Russia says it will retaliate if new sanctions are imposed by Britain, according to the country’s Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov.
